Jon, welcome back to ironhistory.com!

We have changed some rules so please read the rules before posting, and then join in when you are ready, hopefully by posting some of those great Steve Reeves ranch photos you took.

For those who may not know, Jon was editor for awhile for Muscle Digest magazine- I always liked that magazine!

Glad to be back. Iron History is a very unique website that I actually love visiting. Besides serving as

that editor of MUSCLE DIGEST for such a brief tenure, I also wrote for S&H & MD through the one

and only John Grimek, exclusively covering the World's Wristwrestling Championships in Petaluma

for eight straight years (highest ratings in Wide World of Sports history at time). Other highlights

would be features on Ken Patera and a two-parter on Lou Ferrigno. I also did work for WomenSports,

Billie Jean Kings magazine and several other women's fitness and bodybuiding publications. I

obtained my journalism internship at a major nutritional manufacturer in 1970-73, specializing as

staff writer for sports supplimentation (San Fran 49ers, etc.). I've done some boxing, powerlifting

and (strength, shot put) track and field myself. Although my tenure at MUSCLE DIGEST was short,

I ruffled more feathers, rocked more fragile egos, scooped more stories (including Arnold) than

probably ten other editors combined. Not bragging just fact and something I'm proud of.

And I'm old fashioned, I guess. I hate computers. See how I messed

my previous post up. How in the world did that happen? Can anyone

unscrew it for me (Joe) and structure it right. I had just wrote in the

same column format that Joe had written in above, but mine went to

hell. Can't understand it. Sorry.
