Thank you everyone turning 51 was something I never thought I would see. Five years ago I was in the throws of alcoholism and addiction. I’ve been sober for 4 years and three months. I was basically homeless for over a decade. I started the iron lifestyle at 47 years old to help with my recovery. Today I have my life back. Have my own fully equipped gym. When I started I could barely do five pushups now can bench over 400 lbs. have a wall of fame down here with member and friend Ray Nobile on it. Thank you brother Dave Pelto for being there for me. Have a blessed day to all my Iron brothers out there.

Hi Al, good for you brother. We all go through twists and turns in life and no one knows when they can be knocked sideways. You have been down and you brought yourself back. The iron is a good friend and one that never lets you down. Like Dale, you have also made my day.

Peter.

The thing is, Al, you are making such strong and steady progress on the big lifts, particularly

the bench. I honestly believe that a 500 lb raw bench is going to happen before the 1st of the

year. With a successful home, career, and family life, you are a true winner.
