IronHistory Contributor Groups

Recommended Posts

Joe Roark

Bill tells me that it should happen automatically- then he has a step he needs to complete it, but he gets that done right away.

Those of you who are undecided, please think about contributing.

A contribution of $20 per year allows you to see Old Iron without having the otherwise requisite 100 posts, and gets you a year of access to cyberpump without paying the $12 that would otherwise be required.

Again, thank you to those of you who have contributed, and thereby help this site continue. Bill pocketed all the expense for about the first ten years, and then we started the contributor groups.

Didnt notice this thread til now... Good, I needed to rejoin Cyberpump anyways.

Bill I sent payment for this year, but canceled "reoccuring yearly payment", hopefully it didnt mess up my payment for this year. (I like doing it manually).

(Also, I dont like leaving reoccuring ones setup, in case something happened to me, etc)...

If it did mess it up for this year, please let me know so i can try it again)...

Everyone's support and continued support are very much appreciated!

For those who do access Joe's column on Cyberpump and have just renewed for another year please email me at editor@cyberpump.com or just PM me here on the board or just reply in this thread. I want to be sure you are still hooked up there properly on Cyberpump. Thank you!

Bill and I are very pleased with the support that contributors provide to help the site keep running. I mean that.

If you contribute at the higher level, you have access to cyberpump.com, which is serializing the first draft of my manuscript Before The Iron Rusted, and you have immediate access (bypassing the 100 post rule) to Old Iron Depot.

So thank you for caring enough to help.

My quarterly - or so- reminder that if you choose to contribute to this site, the money goes to offsetting expenses.

To those of you who have contributed, thank you.

Frankly, when Bill suggested having contributor groups here, inwardly I was opposed to it, but (he does not know this) decided it was not fair for him to continue to foot all the bills. So I agreed.

He was right. (as usual) :)

We have had wonderful experiences with your cooperation and donations to be contributors. If you see the blue logo by a member's name, think a word of thanks because those are the people who are keeping this site going.

Bill,

payment was rejected. Seems there is a technical problem with the IH paypal connection.

My automatic payment was interrupted before ( in May). Said you "William Piche" interrupted the renewal.

Not sure what to do now ?

Thomas

Has anyone else had this problem? Bill tells me some other renewals went through smoothly.

i had a similar problem in april.paypal said my payment was rejected.when i tried to log in to i.h. i was told that i was not permited to view. as you know i could not log in for five days.after finally contacting admin i was able to log in. now this is where it gets strange, while waiting for admin to reinstate me i contacted paypal to enquire why payment had been rejected. they then put my payment through with no explanation as to why payment was originaly rejected.

I also put in a support ticket.  More details as to exactly when this occurred in the process would be great.  Thanks.

Let me add to what Bill said. When you have a problem, be as specific as you can be regarding details- to help trace the problem.

what day

what time of day

So when he contacts support he can save them time by knowing where to look.

Thanks!

What I need is where you were in the process exactly.

Was it at the point you enter in your credit card information and hit submit?

Then, did Paypal say "denied" in response? Etc.

I really need details of what occurred. Time and date is data not needed actually. I just sent you an invoice and if you can try again that would be great. What I did notice is your username is Bob and your customer data is Robert.  That might be causing some sort of handshake issue with Paypal...not sure.

So, when you go through the payment process please let me know exactly what the error is and at what point. For example, "After I put in my credit card info to PayPal and click submit...PayPal gives the error: yada yada, etc."

Thanks!!

This is my occasional, but sincere, thank you to all of you who contribute to keeping ironhistory.com on the Internet. Without you, we literally would not be here.
