Muscle Museum "Thank You" Plaque

Recommended Posts

A plaque in the Muscle Museum reads, "THE MUSCLE MUSEUM WISHES TO THANK THE FOLLOWING FOR THEIR CONTRIBUTIONS AND SUPPORT-1996". When I built it, I never dreamed I would have to photograph it thirteen years later in two parts in order to read all 72 names. But, such is the kindness of my friends out there in IronLand that I am unable to do justice to all the names in a single photo. Since I have to reduce the photo to post it here, I will list the names as it is difficult to read in the photos. You will see some familiar Iron History members here. Please email me if I have forgotten anyone.

Many thanks to everyone who has helped me in this ongoing project!

A great looking display Mike, it's evident that it's a project that has required a considerable amount of your own time. It reads like a 'Who's Who" of Iron Men and Women....a very nice recognition board, highlighted by what appears to be a barbell befitting the board and it's recognition of contributors to the Muscle Museum. A nice idea from back in '96....well done!

Thanks, Bob. Yeah, the "barbell" is actually an old long handled light dumbell, the scale makes it look like a barbell. I made it from a cabinet door that wasn't being used.

Thank You Mike! You made my day! (My wife was unmoved)

I can be available to make my handprints in wet cement on appointment.
